MUTUAL AND COUNSELING SERVICES IN ADVANCED SCHOOL

In school activities, students need guidance not just learning. Fellow students to become better and effective mentors are classroom teachers. However, this course aims to get the right guidance for students. Subject teachers should have knowledge of the pattern, counselors and counseling in the school. in intended to guide the child towards a more optimal and not arbitrary.
Student Needs and Guidance.
             An individual's needs arise because of his psycho-physical growth and development. Encouragement is a major factor in the emergence of such needs and impulses naturally (as well) and because of the learning process that will encourage an individual to behave in fulfilling his needs. What matters most is the effort to help meet the needs of an invidu or student who faces many problems caused by very different conditions between adolescence.
To that end, the student's need for guidance is as follows:
1. Know and understand the potential, strength, and development tasks.
2. Know and understand the potential or opportunities that exist in the environment.
3. Identify and determine the goals and plans of his life as well as the plan for achieving those goals.
4. Understand and mangatasi difficulties - own difficulties.
5. Using his or her ability for the benefit of himself, the interests of the institution of work and the community.
6. Adapt to the circumstances and demands of the environment.
7. Developing all the potential and strength that it has optimally.
Field of Contents Guidance
             The content area of guidance is formulated into three main components, namely:
1. Basic guidance services.
This is a guidance service that aims to assist students in developing effective behavior and improve their life skills.
2. Responsive service.
This is a guidance that aims to help meet the needs that students feel so important at the moment. This service is more preventive or curative. The responsive service contents are as follows:
· Field of education
The topic is the selection of courses in high school that match the talents, interests and abilities, and the selection of advanced courses in college.
· Field of learning.
The topic is how to learn effectively and how to overcome learning difficulties.
· Social field.
The topic is how to choose a good friend, how to maintain good friendships and how to resolve conflicts with friends.
· Private fields.
Topics are the formation of career identity, the introduction of characteristics, and the work environment, as well as the formation of career patterns.
· Field discipline.
The topic is the introduction of school rules and the development of disciplinary attitudes and behaviors.
· Narcotics field.
The topic is the introduction of the dangers of drug users and the prevention of the dangers of narcotics.
· The field of social behavior.
Topics are the introduction of the dangers of free sex behavior, the way of good dating, and the prevention of free sex behavior.
